Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra: Beethoven’s Eroica

Step into the world of three major composers of the classical genre.

The SBSO explores Mendelssohn’s reaction to his trip to the Scottish islands of Hebrides with Fingal’s Cave, followed by Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto No. 1. Beethoven’s “memory of a great man,” aka Napoleon—his Symphony No. 3, known as Eroica Symphony— captures audience’s imagination as no other momentous work can.
