Parmalee with Lauren Duski September 7
Country Stars Parmalee Join Lauren Duski, runner-up on NBC’s The Voice
Parmalee, comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals and drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and their best friend Josh McSwain (lead guitar), Parmalee are the quintessential American country band. Raised on a diet of Southern rock, country, and blues, they formed in 2001 in their hometown of Parmele, N.C. as a bunch of small town boys chasing wild weekend nights, but their talents eventually took them beyond the little cement-block barn they rehearsed in and onto country music’s biggest stages, not to mention the top of Billboard’s country chart.
With a resume of experience dating back to a very young age, Lauren Duski developed into a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and performer. Originally from Gaylord, Michigan, she has been performing in front of audiences since the age of 7. Several local performances in her hometown led to many years of traveling across Northern Michigan with a band, performing classic country hits. Those shows allowed her the opportunity to open for acts including: Lonestar, Randy Travis, Confederate Railroad, and Bill Anderson.
This show will also feature Steve Armstrong and the 25 Cent Beer Band along with Taylor Tucky.
