Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra: Dances of Love February 9, 2019
What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than joining the SBSO for exciting symphonic music dealing with love through the theme of dance. The concert opens with the well-recognized suite to Bizet’s opera Carmen, followed by Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, a modern-day adaptation of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
