Before Showtime

Doors typically open one hour prior to showtime. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the performance to allow time for parking, ticket scanning, and seating.There is a security screening prior to performances. Please plan accordingly and review the prohibited item list on this page.

Inside the Theatre

  • Late seating is solely at the discretion of the artist/management and varies heavily by performance.
  • Concessions are usually available. Outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited.
  • Intermissions, when applicable, typically run 15-20 minutes.

Parking Options

Safe, well-lit, and immediately adjacent to the venue.

Theatre Lot

Convenient parking is available throughout Downtown Saginaw within walking distance of the theatre.

Guests may utilize nearby street parking, public lots, and parking structures. Availability may vary depending on the event and time of day, so we encourage guests to plan ahead and allow extra time for parking.

Accessible drop-off is available directly in front of the theatre entrance on Washington Avenue.

Downtown Lots

Abundant street parking and public surface lots surround the theatre within a 1-2 block radius. Most street parking is free after 5:00 PM and on weekends.

ADA Parking

Designated, clearly marked handicap-accessible parking spaces are located immediately outside the main entrance and in the adjacent rear lot. Please reach out to the box office in advance of your visit to reserve one of these spaces.

Tickets may be purchased in advance online. For most events, tickets are delivered digitally and can be scanned directly from your mobile device.

At the Door
If tickets are available, they may be purchased at the box office prior to the performance.

Entry Process
Upon arrival, please have your ticket ready for scanning. Once scanned, ushers will assist you in locating your seat.

Mobile Tickets

Have your digital tickets ready on your phone screen (brightness up!) before stepping into the security screening line to ensure a smooth, rapid entry.

Wheelchair and companion seating is available on the main floor. Please request this specifically when purchasing tickets online or via phone.

The theatre is equipped with ADA-compliant seating and accessible restroom facilities on the main level of the theatre

The Temple Theatre aims to provide outstanding experiences for our guests. As you plan your visit please consider the important policy information below. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Code of Conduct

The following behavior or activities are grounds for eviction from The Temple Theatre:

NO RE-ENTRY
Possession of illegal or unauthorized items inside The Temple Theatre
Failure to obey or follow The Temple Theatre’s smoking policies.
Use of illegal substances or drugs; Public drunkenness.
Entering or attempting to enter any “restricted” areas such as; stage area, backstage
Participating in a fight.
Verbally abusing, threatening, or intimidating artists, guests or The Temple Theatre employees.
Throwing of any objects or projectiles in seating areas, from balconies, ramps, stairwells or any other areas.

Prohibited Items

-No bags larger 5”x7” except where medically necessary in these cases bags should not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. All bags subject to search.
-No outside food or drinks
-No smoking or vaping
-No alcohol or illegal drugs
-No weapons or firearms, real or imitation, including pocket knives and other sharp and metallic objects
-No cameras with external flash or detachable lens or audio/video recording equipment
-No laptops, tablets or e-readers
-No flammable objects like fireworks, flashlights or laser pointers
-No oversized umbrellas
-No strollers
-No animals, except service animals (as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Photography & Recording

The Photography policy will vary based on the artist’s requirements. You can expect that cameras with an external flash or detachable lenses or video/audio recorders will be prohibited. Only pre-authorized photographers will be allowed in designated areas outside of assigned seating.

Bag Policy & Security Details

Weather & Cancellations

Performances are rarely cancelled due to weather. If an artist or tour manager decides to cancel, ticket buyers will be immediately notified via email and our social media channels with refund or rescheduling information.
