Field Trips: Underneath a Magical Moon April 10, 2019

A sparkling new production that re-imagines Peter Pan, written by international award winning writer Mike Kenny. Scored with exquisite live music and songs, enthralling movement and a sprinkle of fairy dust.

One summer evening, Wendy and her brothers decide to sleep outside. However, it’s a full moon, and Wendy just can’t get to sleep, so she begins to tell her brothers the story of Peter Pan.  Slowly but surely, they are drawn into the famous tale, and become the characters. They fly, they swim, they sail and fight battles, and conjure up Neverland in their own back yard.

(Performance approximately 45 minutes in length, recommended for grades K -4) Curriculum Connections: Fine Arts, Language Arts, Science, Emotional/Social Development.

This show is part of the Temple Theatre’s Field Trip program, which brings nationally touring stage adaptations of classic and contemporary children’s stories to ~10,000 local students, teachers, and parents every school year.
